Didactic Innovation with ICT in Mathematics Learning: Interactive Strategies to Enhance Logical Thinking and Problem Solving
Main Article Content
Abstract
This chapter examines the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) on individualized learning through a thorough review of technological pedagogy. The study employs a qualitative documentary methodology and examines scientific literature published from 2018 to 2024 on worldwide platforms, including ScienceDirect, Scopus, and IEEE Xplore, which possess a high impact factor. Thirty-eight empirical cases were discovered that elucidate the advantages, expenses, primary trends, constraints, and ethical quandaries associated with the application of AI in education. The analyzed systems encompass intelligent tutoring systems, adaptive learning platforms, educational chatbots, and predictive analytics components. These solutions have shown efficient in facilitating the personalization of teaching and learning processes, hence enhancing academic achievement, autonomy, motivation, and student self-regulation. These gadgets facilitate the customization of learning trajectories, provide varied pedagogies, deliver real-time feedback, and offer resources tailored to the student's progression, so promoting student-centered education in accordance with 21st-century requirements. The evaluation also emphasizes critical issues such insufficient openness in algorithms, privacy infringements due to extensive personal data collecting, and automated decision-making that reveals biases. These ethical and technical concerns drive us to scrutinize the equity, transparency, and sustainability of AI-based technology. The deployment of these solutions in sensitive or low-connectivity environments exposes disparities and inequities in planning. The lecture finishes with a contemplation on the strategic microbusinesses instructors participate in, the significance of instruction in artificial intelligence, the pedagogy of passive devices (Pedagogical Synapse), passive autonomy, and the evolution of pedagogical standards concerning the utilization of these technologies. Proposals are made concerning technological co-creation, socio-education, and public inclusion in governance, assigning AI a role in twenty-first-century education.
