COMPETENCES OF PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE OF THE AGRICULTURAL ENGINEER AT THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY PEDRO RUIZ GALLO DE LAMBAYEQUE.

Abstract

The Universities of Latin America face a triple challenge, regarding their participation in the Evolution of Higher Education; They are responsible for generating knowledge in the fields of Science and Humanities and the challenge of providing solutions to different problems, National, Regional and, to the demands of Globalization. Universities must develop strategies to keep Plans and Programs updated according to advances in knowledge. And, adapt their Teaching - Learning methods according to the needs of Professional Training, also ensure the relevance of the studies to social needs, promote Latin American integration, and adapt to the current era and transform to respond to Productive and Social.

The Pedro Ruiz Gallo National University, like most of the State Universities of the country, is not alien to the aforementioned; Therefore, this research work is aimed at the Implementation of the Professional Action Competencies of the Agricultural Engineer in Areas of Management of Water Resources, Machinery and Constructions in order to improve and raise the quality of the Professional Training of the future Engineer Agrícola, graduated from this University.
